VSP Vision Completes Eyemart Express Acquisition

RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif., Jan. 23, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Continuing its work to expand access to affordable, high-quality eye care and eyewear, VSP Vision^™ announced today it has completed the acquisition of Eyemart Express from FFL Partners and Leonard Green & Partners.

Effective immediately, Eyemart Express CEO Mike Nuzzo will report to VSP Vision Chief Network Officer Jeff Koziel. Eyemart Express will continue to operate as it does today while VSP Vision assesses future business integration opportunities.

Doctor-founded in 1990, Eyemart Express has nearly 250 stores in 42 states. The Farmers Branch, Texas-based company delivers 80% of glasses in one hour thanks to in-house labs and on-site technicians.

Wells Fargo & Company, Kirkland & Ellis LLP, and PricewaterHouse Coopers International Limited all served as main advisors to VSP Vision on the acquisition.
