The MV Multi-Trap^® Vacuum Inlet Trap for plastic extrusion features all 304 stainless steel construction with a full first-stage knockdown baffle, a second stage of stainless steel gauze filters, and a bottom cooling option. Designed to protect vacuum pumps from failures caused by volatile extrusion byproducts, it is field-proven to extend vacuum pump life by over 12 years.

Suited for extruded plastic and composite processes, the MV Multi-Trap^® Vacuum Inlet Trap is offered in 10", 12", and 16" dia. models for pump capacities over 2,000 CFM. Available with 1.5" to 6.0" port sizes and a variety of options such as drains, these traps can be tailored to meet specific customer requirements with user-selectable filtration options.
