U.S.-Made Energy Tech Breaks into Asia
InPipe Energy's First Export of the HydroXS Energy Recovery System Signals Rising Global Demand for Renewable Energy
The InPipe HydroXS Energy Recovery System will be installed at a premier industrial water company site in
"Think of it like an oil well, but instead of drilling into oil pipelines, the HydroXS taps into water pipelines and generates renewable energy, decarbonizing water systems," said
"This is more than just a project - it's proof that

Turning Flowing Water into Power - No Dams, No Carbon, No Disruption
The HydroXS will capture flowing water from industrial water pipelines and convert it into carbon-free electricity to power the site's clarification plant. The energy is consumed on-site, reducing electricity demand from the grid.
- Annual Output: 112 KW, ~876,000 kWh
- CO₂ Emissions Avoided: ~353 metric tons/year
- Lifetime Impact: >10,590 metric tons CO₂ eliminated over 30 years
- Energy Use: Captive power for industrial pumps
- Grid Export: None - all power used on-site
Unlike traditional hydropower, the HydroXS requires no dams, no new construction, and no disruption to aquatic ecosystems. Its compact, modular design enables fast permitting and installation, making it ideal for energy-intensive industries such as municipalities, agriculture, mining, and data centers.
Why
The site in Rayong, chosen for its consistent water pressure and flow, will help enable low-carbon industrial water generation while improving efficiency and reducing grid strain. As the first HydroXS system deployed in
