DALLAS, March 26, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Therme Group, a global leader in wellbeing destinations, seeks to bring its next-generation state-of-the-art urban oasis to Dallas. After a year of engaging the Cedars community, elected officials, and city leaders, Therme Group has decided to move forward with its plan to build the first Therme in the United States in Dallas. If approved by the City of Dallas, Therme Dallas would mark the stateside debut of its evolved approach to urban wellbeing. Spanning hundreds of thousands of square feet, it aims to become a vibrant hub in the heart of the city, offering an accessible and affordable diversity of wellness experiences—featuring thermal baths, saunas, mineral pools, lush greenery, waterslides, swim-up bars, and a variety of dining options. Offering something for everyone, Therme Dallas will allow each visitor to explore what wellbeing means to them—whether it's a splash session with their kids, drinks at the pool bar with friends, or a solo rotation through thermal pools and saunas for peaceful relaxation. From family fun to deep relaxation, every visit will promote physical, social, and mental health while fostering a sense of collective wellbeing.

The Trinity River, with its natural beauty, breathtaking views of the skyline, and proximity to the Dallas Water Commons and the Cedars neighborhood, is a unique and perfectly suited location for a wellbeing destination. Close to the reimagined Dallas Convention Center, the proposed high-speed rail station and a variety of entertainment and dining options within walking distance, Therme Dallas would help better connect Dallas' most prominent natural amenity, to the city's downtown core while offering a sustainable destination for integrated wellbeing.

If approved by the Dallas City Council, Therme Dallas will have a significant economic impact on the City of Dallas and Dallas County by creating hundreds of jobs, partnering with small businesses and local colleges and universities and adding an undeveloped piece of property to the tax rolls. The project is expected to generate over $1.8B in tax revenue over the first 30 years, with $1.1B in local tax revenue and an additional $700M+ in state tax revenues redirected to the City through the Project Finance Zone.
