Stephanie Murphy Taps Space Exec Matt Ondler to Drive Aegis Aerospace Vision

HOUSTON, Sept. 16, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Space and defense technology company Aegis Aerospace Inc. announced the appointment of Matt Ondler to serve as the company's chief strategy officer (CSO). Ondler joins the executive team from Axiom Space, where he had previously served as CSO, chief technology officer and president.

Ondler brings decades of leadership in aerospace engineering, program management, strategic planning and venture backed startups. He has played key roles at NASA, including Assistant Director of Engineering and Division Chief of NASA's Software, Robotics, and Simulation Division. He has private industry experience, including leadership roles at Axiom, Houston Mechatronics, and Stinger Ghaffarian Technologies.
