Silver Point Capital Closes $250 Million BSL CLO Equity Fund

GREENWICH, Conn., Feb. 5, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Silver Point Capital, a global leader in credit investing, today announced it has closed a new fund that will focus on investing in the equity tranches of Silver Point-managed broadly syndicated loan (BSL) CLOs. The Fund accepted capital commitments of $250 million. 

The Fund is designed to benefit from Silver Point's integrated CLO platform, which is differentiated by its diverse defensive portfolio positioning, active trading, and rigorous credit selection. Launched in 2022, the firm's CLO strategy leverages Silver Point's deep experience underwriting and managing portfolios of credit assets in the public markets. Since the platform's inception, Silver Point has issued seven CLOs, totaling approximately $3.1 billion of BSL CLO assets as of the end of 2024.
