Scripta Insights Hires Ken Pickering as Chief Technology Officer

Veteran engineering executive, formerly of Going, Hopper and Rue La La, joins Scripta's leadership team to scale its Rx Navigation platform, empower Americans to comparison-shop for affordable prescription medications

BOSTON, July 30, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Scripta Insights, the doctor-driven, AI-powered pharmacy navigation company that guides self-insured employers, health plans and their members to prescription savings, announced today that Ken Pickering has joined its executive leadership team as Chief Technology Officer. His hire comes at a pivotal time, as the company continues to adopt and scale its Rx Navigation™ technology in the self-insured market and TPA/PEO channels, while expanding into health plan and Medicare Advantage markets.

As CTO, Pickering will oversee Scripta's technology, engineering and infrastructure teams, which have recently launched the GLP-1 Navigator in the member app and integrated low-cost cash pay options through its partnership with RxSaveCard. While ensuring the company's technical vision aligns with its strategic goals, he will also drive product development and ensure the security and scalability of Scripta's platform.

Before joining Scripta, Pickering recently served as VP of Engineering at Going, a subscription service that helps members find discounted flight deals. There, he led the engineering organization and scaled its technology to serve a rapidly growing user base. Pickering was also Senior Vice President of Engineering at Starburst, a data platform for analytics, apps & AI; Chief Technology Officer at Hopper, a leading online travel agency and app; and Vice President of Engineering at Rue Gilt Groupe, the e-commerce retailer offering high-end designer brands at discounted prices.
