Porter Airlines Selects APS Aerospace for Flight Data Monitoring

The proactive use of flight data to ensure the highest levels of operational safety is a key component of Porter's Safety Management System.  Porter chose to replace their previous system with APS's state of the art lumina|fda platform which is fully web-based marking a significant shift for Porter from conventional in-house flight data analysis installations.  Porter also joined the C-CAST (Canadian Commercial Aviation Safety Team) whereby 85% of 705 transport category aircraft in Canada upload unprocessed flight data to a shared National Flight Data Repository powered by lumina|fda to proactively identify safety issues of national interest as directed by the C-CAST members.
