Persistent Systems hosts transitioning Special Ops vets from The Honor Foundation

Visitors to the company's New York headquarters learned how Persistent Systems supports military missions, prioritizes hiring veterans, and what it looks for in potential employees.

NEW YORK, April 29, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- Persistent Systems, LLC ("Persistent"), a leader in mobile ad hoc networking (MANET) technology, hosted The Honor Foundation, a career transition program that helps U.S. Special Operations Forces veterans find their next mission in the civilian workforce.

During the foundation's "TREK" to New York City, 34 veterans of our nation's most elite fighting units were introduced to Persistent's business operations, company culture, and had an opportunity to interact with the company's staff.

A commitment to veterans is at the core of Persistent's culture, as 34% of its workforce is comprised of veterans, including graduates of The Honor Foundation. In 2023, the United States Department of Labor recognized Persistent's commitment to veterans with a Platinum HIRE Vets Medallion Award for its efforts recruiting, hiring, and retaining veterans.

Honor Foundation visitors learned about the company's unique corporate culture, toured the production facilities, and discovered opportunities that align with their unique skill sets and interests. Company engineers, logistics experts, and HR staff were on hand to answer questions and provide guidance on transitioning into the corporate world and what Persistent is looking for in potential recruits.
