Paralyzed Veterans of America Announces Its FY2026 Executive Committee Election Results

U.S. Army veteran Robert Thomas re-elected to third term as national president

WASHINGTON, July 1, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Paralyzed Veterans of America – the nation's premier nonprofit of choice for disabled veterans, their families, and caregivers – today announced that U.S. Army veteran and Cleveland native Robert Thomas will remain its national president. Thomas was re-elected to serve a third term of the organization's highest elected office by PVA's Board of Directors during the organization's 79^th Annual Convention in Austin, TX. Along with PVA's Executive Committee, Thomas will begin his new term today, July 1.

Joining President Thomas on PVA's Executive Committee for FY2026 are eight veterans who bring a wealth of experience and dedication to their roles:

• U.S. Air Force veteran Tammy Jones, national senior vice president
• U.S. Navy veteran Tom Wheaton, national treasurer
• U.S. Air Force veteran Josue Cordova, national vice president
• U.S. Army veteran Lawrence "Louie" Mullins, national vice president
• U.S. Air Force veteran Marcus Murray, national vice president
• U.S. Army veteran Anne Robinson, national vice president
• U.S. Army veteran Matthew Peeling, national secretary
• U.S. Marine Corps veteran Charles Brown, immediate past president

As part of the election, Matthew Peeling was elected to the Executive Committee as national secretary. Peeling replaced Marcus Murray, who is now serving his first term as national vice president.
