PTS Advance and Roberts Companies Combine Forces

IRVINE, Calif., March 5, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- PTS Advance is excited to announce the acquisition of Roberts Companies in Concord, California. Founded in 1977 by Richard Roberts, a licensed Civil Engineer, the organization has evolved through several service offerings in the past 43 years and now incorporates both engineering and staffing.

Roberts has been engaged extensively in petrochemical, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, mining, and food manufacturing. As Managing Director of Roberts Engineers, Roberts will now hire and mentor engineers in several new semi-autonomous teams across the country, continuing an active role in client engagement and project management.

Roberts stated, "We are targeting the small to medium sized industrial projects and feel that our small team approach will give our clients both the accessibility to the design team and an efficient, competitive cost structure.  By combining our companies, we will be able to provide superior coverage both geographically and by industry."

Ella Marie Kallios, President of Roberts Companies, has led the staffing business since 2001. Kallios, like many of her team members, first became employed in the engineering business in 1988 – gaining a strong appreciation for the site environment and what it takes to ensure safety and employee wellbeing. As Managing Director, Kallios will now lead the combined staffing business under the PTS Advance logo, supporting over 100 employees that play a critical role in the operations and maintenance of the 5 refineries and other industrial facilities in the Bay Area.
