Ottobock and Atlanta Falcons Announce First-Ever Official Adaptive Mobility Partnership

Multi-year partnership kicks off with inaugural Adaptive Sports Day on September 19, featuring coaching from former Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Michael Haynes

Event offers personalized guidance, technology and community support for individuals to advance their mobility

AUSTIN, Texas, Sept. 16, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Ottobock, a global leader in prosthetics, orthotics and mobility solutions, and the NFL's Atlanta Falcons, today announced a multi-year partnership naming Ottobock the team's first-ever Official Adaptive Mobility Partner. The partnership is built around hands-on programming for Atlanta's adaptive community, beginning with the inaugural Adaptive Sports Day on Saturday, September 19, at Meadowcreek Mustangs Stadium in Norcross, GA.

Adaptive Sports Day is a clinic for amputees who have the ability to participate in dynamic running activities. The program will be led by Ottobock clinicians alongside former Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Michael Haynes. Participants will move through a full progression over the course of the day: product fittings and gait evaluation, running mechanics coached by Ottobock's clinical running team, and football drills with the Falcons organization. The day is designed to give Atlanta's adaptive community a direct, hands-on experience of the sport, from the clinic floor to the field.

In addition, one amputee and a guest will travel to Madrid for the once-in-a-lifetime experience of representing Ottobock, at the Falcons game against the Cincinnati Bengals. This individual will serve as a host documenting their journey and bringing the Ottobock adaptive community along via their social media channels.
