Ontario-based 55H Announces Data Center Capacity Expansion

BRAMPTON, ON, March 5, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- 55H is pleased to announce the phased expansion of its data center capacity, specifically designed to meet the growing demands of artificial intelligence (AI) clients. This strategic development will provide 20 megawatts (MW) of available IT power in three stages: 

• Immediate Availability: 2.5 MW is now available for lease, offering immediate support for AI workloads.
  
  
• Summer 2025: A further 2.5 MW will be operational, expanding capacity to 5MW
  
  
• 1H 2026: An additional 15 MW, culminating in a total IT capacity of up to 20 MW to support large-scale AI operations.

This expansion is in response to the increasing computational needs of AI applications, which require high-density power solutions. By offering up to 130 kilowatts (kW) per rack coupled with infrastructure consisting of contiguous space, large floor plages currently vacant, and water-cooling technology, 55H ensures that clients can efficiently manage intensive AI processes, including machine learning and deep learning tasks.
