Veteran CISA Advisor First Woman to Develop and Implement Statewide Security Strategy

INDIANAPOLIS, July 14, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Ice Miller is pleased to announce that Chetrice Mosley-Romero, a trailblazer in the cybersecurity space and a veteran Cybersecurity Advisor & State Coordinator for the Department of Homeland Security's Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), has joined the firm as a Senior Cybersecurity Advisor, positioned to add immediate value by helping clients strengthen their security practices through the development of high-caliber cybersecurity governance, risk and compliance initiatives, crisis management and incident response plans, and workforce training programs.

Mosley-Romero also broke barriers by serving as the first Cybersecurity Program Director for Indiana—the first woman nationally fully dedicated to developing and implementing a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy for an entire state. Experienced in both the public and private sectors, she possesses a panoramic understanding of the full cybersecurity ecosystem and has led response efforts for cyber incidents at the local, state, regional, and national levels.
