National Anatomage Tournament Brings Medical Visualization to Student Competitions

SANTA CLARA, Calif., May 21, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Anatomage Inc., a leader in medical education technology, is excited to announce the return of the National Anatomage Tournament, taking place on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). The Championship Rounds of the top 8 teams will be live-streamed on the Anatomage YouTube channel, starting 1:00 PM PT.

Anatomage Tournaments transform the traditional academic competition format into a gamified, team-based challenge using the Anatomage Table, an advanced medical education platform featuring digitized real human cadavers. Students rotate, zoom, and maneuver 3D bodies to locate and identify anatomical structures, competing in a fast-paced, interactive game that makes learning fun, exciting, and memorable.

In 2025, more than 8,000 students participated in over 40 tournaments that took place across the country, with only the top 5% advancing to the National Tournament. Teams of three to four students earn their place by ranking in the top four at one of these local tournaments, or qualifying through open virtual competitions. Once they reach the National Tournament, they compete in an elimination format for the prestigious title of National Anatomage Champion.

Beyond the competition, students and attendees will also have the opportunity to take part in interactive workshops led by professionals from both the education and healthcare industries. These hands-on sessions provide valuable clinical insight and exposure to real-world healthcare careers.
