NIST Engages Electrosoft to Advance CSF 2.0 and Risk Management Resources

Cybersecurity Framework support will strengthen cybersecurity and privacy guidance across sectors

RESTON, Va., Sept. 16, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Electrosoft Services, Inc., a rapidly growing cybersecurity and enterprise modernization firm, today announced it has been awarded a prime task order under the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) CAPSS IDIQ to deliver technical services in support of NIST's Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) and Risk Management Program.

Under the task order, Electrosoft will deliver a range of services including:

• Cybersecurity Framework Development and Support – creating and maintaining quick start guides, mappings and educational materials for the CSF website.
• Privacy and Risk Management Program Technical Services – supporting public comment adjudication and publication finalization for privacy and data governance initiatives.
• Subject Matter Expertise – contributing technical insights and developing content for CSF-related publications and training.

These services will help NIST streamline stakeholder engagement, strengthen the integration of cybersecurity and privacy, and help ensure the CSF remains flexible and effective across government and industry organizations. By simplifying how risks are communicated and managed, the program enables better decision-making and risk awareness for both technical and non-technical users.
