Mario Perillo Returns to TV via A.I.

WOODCLIFF LAKE, N.J., Feb. 11, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Renowned travel entrepreneur Mario Perillo, fondly remembered for promoting Italy tours on national television throughout the 1980s and '90s, is making a remarkable return—this time through artificial intelligence. Since Mario's passing in 2003, his son, Steve Perillo, has carried on his legacy as the face of Perillo Tours.

With hundreds of hours of archived video footage and still photography, the opportunity to revive Mario's iconic presence became a reality through A.I. innovation.

After months of animating still photos and seamlessly lip-syncing archival video, the interactive commercial featuring a father-and-son exchange is set to air on broadcast television starting the week of Feb 10, 2025.
