Main Street Announces New Portfolio Investment

Invests $10.0 Million in Leveraged Buyout of a Tax Collection Service Provider

HOUSTON, July 31, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Main Street Capital Corporation (NYSE: MAIN) ("Main Street") is pleased to announce that it recently completed a new portfolio investment totaling $10.0 million to help facilitate the leveraged buyout of a leading third-party tax collection service provider (the "Company"). Main Street partnered with a sector-focused private investment firm that Main Street has partnered with on several prior investments and which is now the majority equity investor and owner of the Company to facilitate the transaction. Main Street's investment of $10.0 million included a combination of first lien, senior secured debt and a direct minority equity investment.

Founded in 2010 and headquartered in the Southeastern U.S., the Company serves as a third-party delinquent tax collection service provider for a variety of different taxes. The Company serves its local government partners through proprietary data-driven processes in order to maximize collections, helping to fund public safety and other critical services while maintaining a high standard of public service.
