Southern Land Company's First Full-Service Restaurant Opened September 16 in Green Hills

NASHVILLE, Tenn., Sept. 24, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Nashville-based Southern Land Company, a vertically integrated, national real estate developer of award-winning mixed-use and master-planned communities, officially opened its highly anticipated first full-service restaurant, Lupo Notte at  Vertis Green Hills, Southern Land Company's flagship mixed-use community and headquarters (2035 Richard Jones Road).

Lupo Notte's menu offers upscale Italian favorites, including house-made pasta, pizzas, daily specials, and entrees featuring locally sourced ingredients, all in a stunningly designed space with natural light and refined contemporary decor.

Expert Culinary Leadership and an Elevated Italian Dining Experience

Owen Lane serves as Lupo Notte's Executive Chef. Most recently serving as Executive Sous Chef at Nashville favorite Pastis, Chef Lane also worked at Audrey and June in East Nashville, and The Boardroom in Franklin, located within Southern Land's premier Westhaven community. A Tennessee native, Chef Lane grew up on a family farm in Leipers Fork and has been in the restaurant and hospitality business for nearly 30 years.

Cauchon, alongside Downey and Senior Director of Culinary Paul Sale, led Lupo Notte's concept development. The restaurant's menu was also crafted in collaboration with Westhaven Golf Club's Executive Chef and Food and Beverage Director, Manlio Melloni.

Guests at Lupo Notte can expect to start their meals with shareable plates like the signature Lupo Meatballs made with ground wagyu beef, Italian sausage, and veal before moving on to fresh main entrees like snapper in a tomato broth, creative house-made pasta dishes like sweet corn-filled Agnolotti, and 12-inch Neapolitan-style pizzas made with 48-hour fermented dough that range from classic Margherita to Soppressata with Calabrian honey. All Lupo Notte pizzas are prepared in a state-of-the-art, three-deck oven designed to maintain optimal temperature and yield crisp pies.

Lupo Notte's curated beverage program features Italian-inspired craft cocktails and an expertly curated international wine list, with a strong representation of Italian varietals selected to complement the menu.

Nashville restaurant veteran David Rehrmann serves as General Manager at Lupo Notte. Throughout his career, he has specialized in restaurant openings, operational excellence, team development, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. Rehrmann is an accomplished hospitality executive with extensive experience leading acclaimed restaurants, such as A Voce in New York City, as well as Modern Italian and Zuzu in Nashville.

Lupo Notte is open daily for dinner service, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Lunch service and online ordering is slated to begin later this fall.

A Design Forward Restaurant in Nashville's Green Hills Neighborhood

Designed by SLC's award-winning in-house design team, in collaboration with the renowned Nashville-based firm, HASTINGS Architecture, Lupo Notte is a sophisticated, European-inspired dining destination layered with whimsical artwork and timeless bistro-inspired furnishings. The restaurant offers an elegant, immersive atmosphere that is effortlessly refined.

Spanning nearly 3,100 square feet, Lupo Notte offers seating for approximately 110 guests indoors, plus an additional 20 seats across the restaurant's two outdoor patios. The intricately designed space connects diners to the kitchen with an open kitchen and full-service bar, creating an atmosphere equally suited for casual gatherings, celebratory dinners, and everything in between.

The restaurant also features a new glass-walled dining and bar area, creating a bright, inviting destination for residents and visitors alike. Guests enter through a glass-walled conservatory bar that features an elegant quartz bar top and is anchored by a custom mural of Lupo—the restaurant's mischievous muse. From there, the experience flows into an intimate Chef's Counter with eight seats, where diners enjoy a front-row view of the open kitchen and personalized service from the culinary team. The journey culminates in the restaurant's vibrant main dining room, which opens onto an inviting outdoor patio.
