A practicing physician board certified in family medicine, geriatric medicine, and clinical informatics, Dr. McCarrick brings more than four decades of clinical and healthcare leadership experience spanning primary care, population health, care coordination, clinical informatics, and value-based healthcare delivery.

As Chief Medical Officer, Dr. McCarrick will provide clinical leadership across Lightbeam, helping ensure the company's technology, solutions, and services remain closely aligned with the realities of clinical practice and the evolving needs of organizations in value-based care. His perspective as a physician executive will help advance Lightbeam's vision of turning data into action, action into outcomes, and outcomes into stronger clinical and financial performance.

Throughout his career, he has led major initiatives involving patient-centered medical homes (PCMH), the CMS Comprehensive Primary Care Initiative (CPCi) and Comprehensive Primary Care Plus (CPC+), quality reporting systems, care management infrastructure, and digital health strategies designed to improve patient outcomes while reducing unnecessary healthcare utilization.
