The scheduled presentation titled "Broadband Thermal Imaging: The Future is Now" will explore the key challenges that have historically limited broadband MWIR sensing in uncooled microbolometers. Historically, broadband mid-wave infrared sensing with uncooled microbolometers has faced perceived limitations, but recent advancements are opening up exciting possibilities.
"This presentation examines the technical and practical factors that have shaped industry skepticism and highlights the potential advantages of achieving this capability," said Sam Rubin, President and CEO of LightPath Technologies. "By addressing these critical questions, LightPath aims to provide new insights into the future of uncooled infrared imaging and its expanding possibilities."
The full agenda for the Photonics Spectra Infrared Imaging Summit will explore a comprehensive spectrum of infrared imaging innovations, with featured presentations from industry experts at Oculus Photonics, InfraTec GmbH, Lattice Materials, Emberion, and VIGO Photonics in addition to LightPath Technologies, where sessions will cover polarization imaging, broadband imaging, advancements in machine vision, and more.
