Kinetics Noise Control Appoints Michael Walters New Vice President of Sales

DUBLIN, Ohio, Sept. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Kinetics Noise Control Inc. (Kinetics), a Catalyst Acoustics Group brand today announced the appointment of Michael (Mike) Walters as Vice President of Sales. Based in Dublin, Ohio, he will lead Kinetics' sales organization and support the company's continued growth across its markets and customer channels. His priorities will include strengthening strategic sales processes, enhancing forecasting discipline, increasing cross-functional alignment with marketing and new product development, and supporting consistent, high-quality customer experiences.

Walters brings more than two decades of senior sales leadership experience across specialty materials and industrial manufacturing organizations. His background combines commercial leadership, strategic planning and technical expertise, with a track record of driving growth, developing high-performing teams and expanding market opportunities.

Prior to joining the organization, Walters served as Vice President of Building Systems at Novagard, where he led a commercial turnaround for the company's specialty sealants and coatings business. During his tenure, he delivered revenue growth through strategic market diversification and channel optimization during a highly competitive market cycle.

Earlier in his career, Walters served as Americas Director at Momentive Performance Materials, formerly GE Silicones, where he was responsible for P&L performance across the Americas and shaping the company's strategic plans and go-to-market strategy. Additionally, he previously served as Global Sales Director for Eastman Chemical Company's Tire Additives business, and as GE Silicones' Global Sales Manager, earning multiple GE Sales Person of the Year recognitions.

Walters began his career as a Senior Project Engineer at Procter & Gamble, where he led cross-functional teams on major capital projects, including greenfield plant construction. This early engineering experience provides a strong technical foundation that complements his extensive commercial leadership background.

Walters holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, summa cum laude, from the University of Dayton, with a minor in Computer Science.
