FIA is the leading global trade body for futures, options and centrally cleared derivatives markets. To provide a voice for its member firms, FIA regularly publishes white papers, and sends letters and position papers to government agencies, regulatory authorities and politicians on issues of interest to the futures industry. It also convenes working groups dedicated to specific industry or regulatory issues and participates with other trade bodies in broader coalitions to address issues of common concern. Additionally, the organization actively promotes fair trade, works with exchanges, educates consumers, and protects members against fraud.
