Jericho Project Rings Closing Bell at New York Stock Exchange

Nonprofit leader in ending homelessness celebrates opening of Logan Fountain providing housing and comprehensive services for 105 New Yorkers

NEW YORK, Feb. 28, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Tori Lyon, CEO of Jericho Project, the nationally-acclaimed nonprofit ending homelessness in New York, rang the closing bell of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) on February 21, 2025, in celebration of the opening of Logan Fountain, a new supportive housing residence in Brooklyn with comprehensive services provided by Jericho.

Lyon was joined by Jericho Project leaders, team members, building partners and supporters to commemorate its first bell-ringing appearance at the NYSE. She acknowledged Jericho's dedicated management team and valued staff, construction partners Hudson Companies and Broadway Builders, supporter Morgan Stanley, and Jericho Project's Board of Directors and Associate Board.

Logan Fountain includes 175 new units, of which 105 will be supportive housing, enabling each resident the dignity of a lease and key in exchange for one-third of their income, as well as access to Jericho's life-changing services including case management, employment, mental and physical health resources, and a social environment.

Jericho Project provides equitable housing and individualized services, including mental health and wellness, workforce and employment opportunities, family stability and homelessness prevention, to 3,000 New Yorkers annually, including nearly 700 veterans, as well as families, seniors and young adults. Jericho currently provides over 625 units of housing in New York City which includes 485 units across seven residential buildings and 80 single adult and 60 family apartments throughout the Bronx.

Jericho and its partners are creating a more accessible housing landscape with more than 2,600 new or preserved units of affordable housing over the next five years. Nearly 1,000 of them will be supportive housing, which represents one-half of New York City's annual goals.
