June 12, 2026 11:45 AM EDT

PITTSBURGH, June 12, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- "My son is 3 years old and has autism. We wanted to create a new matching game to help him learn certain subjects like letters, numbers, shapes, and colors," said one of two inventors, from Noblesville, Ind., "so we invented the MONTESSORI TILES. Our design helped improve his abilities within weeks of play."

The patent-pending invention provides a fun new matching game for homes, classrooms, or therapeutic settings. In doing so, it could help individuals learn a variety of cognitive and physical subjects. It also would help improve coordination, dexterity, and strength. As a result, it offers educational and therapeutic value. The invention features a simple design that is easy to use so it is ideal for occupational therapists, rehabilitation facilities, patients with cognitive or physical challenges/delays, all children from ages 3-8, nurseries, childcare facilities, pre-school, kindergarten, and elementary schools, etc. Additionally, a prototype model and technical drawings are available upon request.

The original design was submitted to the Indianapolis sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
