InventHelp Inventor Develops Ring Extension Concept for Electricians (NJR-291)

My design eliminates the need to replace a conduit body fitting that does not meet the NEC code requirement for cubic capacity for the wires contained within."

The patent-pending invention provides an effective way to apply the extension ring concept commonly used for increasing the internal volume of electrical conduit body or cable that is hard to push into access fitting. In doing so, it would increase the internal volume of type LL, LB, LR, C and X electrical conduit body fittings. As a result, it eliminates the time-consuming process of a complete conduit body replacement. The invention features a practical design that is easy to use so it is ideal for electricians. Additionally, a prototype model and technical drawings are available upon request.
