The invention provides an improved means of securing two boats together or a boat to a dock. In doing so, it eliminates the need to waste time attempting to tie boats together using a rope. As a result, it helps prevent delays and aggravation while out on the water. It also could allow for quick and safe mooring alongside a dock.
