IntelAgree Expands Saige Assist: Agent and Simplifies Contract Creation in Latest Release
Both features are part of IntelAgree's ongoing push to make contract management easier, smoother, and a natural part of how teams already work. One expands what a team can do with AI across all their contracts, the other simplifies how a new request begins, and together they bring the platform a step closer to the people it serves at every stage of the contract process.
Skills in Saige Assist: Agent
A skill is a saved workflow Agent can rerun on demand, so a recurring task like a biweekly report or a standard contract-type review provides consistent results.
Skills are Markdown files, so a team can build their own in IntelAgree or load in a workflow from another LLM. Either way, Agent runs it with the full context of their repository, drawing on every agreement the team has signed, its version history, and the redlines and comments behind each one.
With skills, users can:
- Create, search, manage, and edit skills from their own page in Saige Assist
- Download a skill as a markdown file and hand it to a teammate to load into their Agent
- Run skills in IntelAgree's Microsoft Word Add-in while redlining a contract
Beyond skills, this release expanded both what Agent can find and what it can do. Its search now covers more contract and configuration data, including business keys, attribute risk scores, and contract risk scores, giving Agent more context to use when it provides answers. With stateful actions, Agent can also do the work in the same conversation, creating ad hoc approvals and reminders, editing playbooks, adding attachments, and tagging colleagues in comments.
As Agent takes on more, this release also gives users tighter control while it works. A Stop button halts Agent mid-request, and Steer redirects it, sparing a user from waiting for a wrong answer and prompting again. Human judgment sets the direction on every request, start to finish.
"Contract work should meet people where they already are, and now it does," said
Hide Questions Based on User Permissions
Adding a contract now takes fewer steps for business users. IntelAgree can hide the questions that don't apply to a user, so the "Define Contract" page shows only the fields they actually need to fill in.
Administrators enable it from the "Configuration" page and choose which questions to hide. Once a question is set to hide, IntelAgree applies the default value automatically when a user has only one option to choose from.
While this new feature benefits all users, one big advantage is for teams that rely on the request process. Since requesters have narrower permissions, a shorter form lets them submit a contract for review without filling out unnecessary questions or stopping to ask what a field means.
"A contract request should feel effortless, no matter who's submitting it," said

About IntelAgree
IntelAgree is an AI-native contract lifecycle management (CLM) platform that ensures every deal an enterprise signs is the deal it gets. Built and hosted on Microsoft Azure, IntelAgree's machine learning has identified obligations, dates, and key terms buried in dense legal language since 2018. Today, Saige Assist, its governed generative AI assistant, expands that intelligence with redlines, risk scores, and next steps grounded in each customer's playbooks and clause library. IntelAgree integrates with the enterprise tools teams already rely on, including Salesforce, DocuSign, and Bullhorn. Casey's, Ashley Furniture, and Pebble Beach trust IntelAgree to take the cost and friction out of contracting. Learn more at intelagree.com.
