IP.com Announces Contract Renewal with the United States Patent Office
ROCHESTER, N.Y., June 14, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- IP.com, a global leader in intellectual property intelligence and innovation solutions, has renewed its multi-year contract to provide InnovationQ Plus™, its IP search and analytics platform, to the United States Patent Office (USPTO). The system will be fully deployed to all 8,500 examiners by October.
InnovationQ Plus is powered by its Semantic Gist™ search engine that provides both concept-based common language semantic search and enhanced Boolean filters. It is the only patent search tool that features exclusive, fully discoverable content from IEEE, including full-text journals and conference papers, and additional non-patent publications, alongside one of the largest global patent databases in the world.
"For nearly nine years, IP.com has supported the USPTO's vision of leading the nation and the world in intellectual property with InnovationQ Plus. We are delighted that the USPTO has decided to continue and expand the scope of solutions IP.com provides to Examiners and other employees throughout the United States as we strive to achieve our vision of improving the world through Innovation," said John Bonin, CEO of IP.com.
IP.com will assist with the deployment by conducting a series of on-boarding sessions with examiners over the summer to ensure all InnovatonQ Plus seats with expanded capabilities are active by the Fall.
