Groundbreaking Fertility Technology Nearly Doubles IVF Success
A new fertility technology from Tel Aviv University has increased IVF success rates from 34% to 65% by selecting sperm with optimal genetic health. Dr.
Shaked told Media Line, "We knew sperm selection was important, but the fact that we could nearly double the success rate of IVF was surprising. This proves that sperm selection is a much more critical factor than previously believed."
"We've been sharing this message for over two decades. It takes a healthy sperm cell and a healthy egg cell to create a healthy baby," said Dr.
He continued, "We hear it all the time—women wish their partners would get more involved, but many men say things like, 'I don't believe in that stuff' or 'I'm fine.' But 'that stuff' matters. Research shows that diet and lifestyle changes, supplements, acupuncture, and low-level laser therapy (LLLT) can significantly improve sperm quality by reducing oxidative stress and improving motility, morphology, and energy production."
We hope this inspires men to take action—or encourages their partners to strongly nudge (or lovingly push!) them to get involved. Improving sperm quality might mean you can avoid IVF altogether. And if IVF is necessary, your chances of success will be that much higher.
