Gemspring Capital Acquires Creative Labs

WESTPORT, Conn., Feb. 10, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Gemspring Capital Management, LLC ("Gemspring"), a middle-market private equity firm, is pleased to announce that an affiliate has acquired Creative Labs and United Hair Care (together, "Creative Labs" or the "Company") in partnership with the Company's CEO, Brett Simmons. Creative Labs is a manufacturer and developer of branded and contract-manufactured haircare and skincare products. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Creative Labs owns and operates a diverse portfolio of growing brands sold through multiple channels, including retail, e-commerce, and hair salons. The Company is uniquely positioned to adapt to evolving consumer trends and deliver innovative, high-quality solutions with its vertically integrated operations, which include in-house research and development, product testing, large-scale manufacturing, branding and marketing.
