"We're excited to offer boat owners a new premium, convenient and affordable audio solution that will entertain on every trip. The new JL Audio A60 head units bring together a robust feature set, including built-in Digital Signal Processing, superior Bluetooth connectivity and a modern-looking design to fit with the current trends in mid-size boats."
–Susan Lyman,
What's new?
- Bluetooth™ LE audio streaming: Enjoy advanced audio streaming with enhanced clarity from smart devices.
- DSP technology: Boost the overall listening experience by optimizing the audio signal delivered through the system. DSP also protects system components by managing the power sent to the speakers and subwoofers.
- Multi-Zone™ audio: Gives the user control of four separate audio zones.
- Hi-res color display: Enjoy the incredible aesthetics of a more modern-looking stereo unit that features a higher-resolution 2.95-inch (640 x 360 px) color screen and sunlight readable display2.
- Wireless control: Easily control the audio from anywhere on the boat with compatible Garmin smartwatches or the Garmin Audio app on compatible smart devices.
- NMEA2000® compatibility: Network the sound system with a Garmin MFD or the JL Audio NRX-300 wired remote (sold separately) for integrated audio control. Also supports Speed vs. Volume adjustment, automatically increasing the stereo's volume to match greater noise at higher speeds.
- Built-in DAB tuner: Receive a clearer and more reliable signal compared to traditional AM/FM radio on the water with included Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB) technology.
Modern design
Constructed to compliment the look and feel of the latest boat design trends, JL Audio A60 features a sleek aesthetic that complements other modern electronics at the helm. The hideaway JL Audio A60-H is built specifically to integrate with Garmin MFDs, reducing clutter and streamlining the look of any dash. Both are built to an IPX6 and IPX7 rating to resist typical elements in a marine environment, including water, salt fog, UV and temperature change.
Enhanced audio control
Take command of the audio with the new JL Audio R5 volume controller and NRX-300 wired remote. Compatible with JL Audio A60 and A60-H head units both devices connect to the boat's NMEA 2000 network for convenient control of on-board audio zones.
The R5 offers quick volume adjustments and play/pause control through a large, dash-mounted knob that can be installed with a single 1.5-inch hole. For more advanced control, the NRX-300 features an optically bonded LCD display and five-button control for up to four audio zones. Both devices are IPX 7 rated for marine use.
The JL Audio A60 and A60-H marine head units are available now with a suggested retail price of
