Flexential Appoints Ryan Mallory as Chief Executive Officer

Leadership transition maintains Flexential's commitment to deliver amid unprecedented demand for AI and digital infrastructure

DENVER, Oct. 1, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Flexential, a leading provider of secure and flexible data center solutions, has appointed Ryan Mallory, its current President and Chief Operating Officer, to the role of Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Mallory will succeed Chris Downie, who is stepping down after nine years in the role. Mallory joined Flexential in June 2020 as COO and has more than 25 years of experience in high-growth technology environments.

This leadership transition reflects Flexential's long-term succession planning and commitment to strategic continuity. Mallory was promoted to President and COO in May, and this promotion to CEO is the next sequential step in assuming leadership of the company. This positions Flexential to continue building capacity and interconnection while navigating record demand, power constraints, and the accelerating influence of AI and hyperscale computing.
