Since its launch as an alternative to progressive podcasts ahead of the 2020 presidential election, Ruthless' irreverent variety of next generation conservative talk with a wry sense of humor has solidified it as the preeminent go-to podcast for political power players. According to recent polling from National Research Inc, Ruthless is a top news source for men aged 18-45 for information about politics and government, highlighting the five-year-old podcast's early success in the genre. Additionally, as part of the new licensing deal, Holmes, Duncan, Ashbrook, and "Comfortably Smug" will serve as FOX News contributors.
In his role overseeing New Media and Ruthless, Berry will lead all editorial strategy for FOX News Media's digital, social, and opinion podcast platforms. Berry will also continue to oversee news coverage, original reporting and content innovation across FOX News Digital while managing all cross-functional teams spanning editorial, social, video and podcasts. Additionally, he will drive social media strategy across platforms to increase engagement and reach new audiences where they are. He will also lead the strategic development and oversight of AI-powered tools across Digital and New Media, with an emphasis on enhanced editorial decision making.
Berry was named Vice President and Editor-in-Chief of FOX News Digital in 2018. He was later promoted to Executive Vice President in 2021 and then named President of the platform at the end of 2023. Under his leadership, FOX News Digital recently surpassed 51 consecutive months as the top news brand in multiplatform minutes reaching a total average monthly audience of 134 million unique visitors in May.
