Exactech Marks Global Milestone Using Industry-First Ankle Navigation Technology

GAINESVILLE, Fla., April 28, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Exactech, a global medical technology leader, announced the international debut of GPS Ankle, the world's first navigation system for ankle replacement. The surgery was performed by Timothy Schneider, MBBS, FRACS, in Melbourne, Australia, marking the first use of navigation technology for ankle replacement surgery outside of the U.S.
