Epicured and Fallon Health: Pioneering Food Is Medicine in PACE Programs

WORCESTER, Mass., Sept. 4, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Epicured Inc., a pioneer in food-is-medicine dedicated to combating and preventing chronic disease, has announced a partnership with Fallon Health, a national leader in offering the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE)— a comprehensive, community-based model of care that helps older adults remain independent and in their homes for as long as possible. Together, they provide Medically Tailored Meals (MTMs) to participants of Fallon Health's Massachusetts PACE, locally called Summit ElderCare®. The meals are used as a therapeutic tool to enhance care, improve health outcomes, and decrease health care costs for adults with chronic health care needs.

Today, the meals are available at 4 out of 5 of Fallon Health's Summit ElderCare® PACE Centers with plans to expand the offering to additional locations as the program grows. With Epicured's strong design and production capabilities, this initiative serves approximately 1,000 MTMs per week, supporting hundreds of older adults enrolled in the program, many of whom face food insecurity or complex health conditions.
