Airfare deal volume up 32%; Paris, Tokyo and Rome lead travel wish lists

Despite ongoing economic uncertainty, tariffs, mixed consumer confidence, and cautious airline earnings forecasts, international deal volume is up 32% year-over-year compared to 2024.

According to the report, Cancún, London and Paris top the list as the Most Affordable International Destinations for U.S. travelers, followed by Tokyo and Rome, based on the frequency of deals available and the lowest round-trip economy fares found during summer 2025.

That is good news for travelers. Paris, Tokyo and Rome also top the list of where travelers said they want to go the most.

Europe is always an in-demand summer destination. London, Paris and Rome lead the Most Affordable European Destinations category, with Dublin, Amsterdam, Madrid and Munich close behind, all offering roundtrip airfare deals starting between $500-$680.
