NEW YORK, Sept. 12, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- As states face new federal mandates and tight timelines to improve payment accuracy in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Deloitte is building tailored, AI-powered solutions that can help state leaders strengthen program integrity, advance program compliance, and enhance customer service.

According to the Congressional Budget Office, H.R. 1 will lead to changes in SNAP that affect benefits, eligibility and cost sharing. For example, states will be required to pay between 5% and 15% of SNAP benefit costs, based on their SNAP error rates.
