Custom Ink Names Three Experienced Execs to Leadership Team

Phil Auerbach Joins Company as CMO, Justin Swietlik Promoted to CFO, and Kane Posner Named to New Role as SVP, Strategy

TYSONS, Va., May 22, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Custom Ink, the online leader in custom products and apparel for organizations, groups, and businesses, today named three experienced executives to its senior leadership team. Experienced cross-industry executive Phil Auerbach has joined the company as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), longtime Custom Ink finance executive Justin Swietlik has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and internal leader Kane Posner has been appointed to a newly created role as Senior Vice President, Strategy. All three will report to CEO David Doctorow.

Auerbach brings nearly 25 years of executive experience leading marketing and commercial operations across a wide range of industries, including healthcare, consumer technology, hospitality, and consulting. Among his roles, he served as Chief Commercial Officer at Lindblad Expeditions, Bumble, and ClearChoice Management Services; Chief Digital and Strategy Officer at Dunkin' Brands; and SVP/Regional Chief Marketing Officer at Caesars Entertainment. At Bumble, Auerbach led Marketing and Partnerships globally and played a key role in profitably scaling the business by over 50%, resulting in over $900MM in annual revenue.

In his new role at Custom Ink, Auerbach will be responsible for expanding the company's customer base and increasing their engagement with Custom Ink while maintaining a strong commitment to customer experience, rigorous measurement, and overall economics.

Swietlik, who joined Custom Ink in 2016, has held leadership roles across finance that have included financial planning & analysis, treasury, and strategic transaction activities. He played a critical role in executing the company's 2019 investment by Great Hill Partners, as well as helping lead important capital-raising efforts and systems upgrades. Prior to Custom Ink, Swietlik served in key finance roles at Rigquipment Finance, Pivot Cycles, and Comerica Bank.
