Citrin Cooperman Expands Midwest Presence with Acquisition of ORBA

NEW YORK, Sept. 4, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Citrin Cooperman Advisors LLC, the premier professional services provider for private, middle market businesses and high net-worth individuals, today announced it has entered into an agreement to acquire substantially all the assets of Ostrow Reisin Berk & Abrams, Ltd. (ORBA), a prominent Chicago-based accounting and advisory firm with offices in downtown Chicago, Oak Brook, IL, and Salt Lake City, UT.

The addition of ORBA represents a significant milestone for Citrin Cooperman as it expands its footprint in the Midwest and enhances its capabilities across a wide range of industries, including manufacturing & distribution, professional services, sports & entertainment, real estate, and other privately held businesses. ORBA joins Citrin Cooperman with 15 partners and over 150 professionals.

The transaction is expected to close in October 2025.
