Catholic International University is Shaping the Future of AI and Emerging Technologies
This unique program prepares students to be at the defining edge of AI design and deployment, while ensuring the virtuous use of emerging technology. We have assembled some of the greatest minds in AI and emerging technology to develop and teach in our program. One of these thought leaders in the medical field shared his views on our program and this degree:
"At Catholic International University, we are committed to advancing technology in a way that prioritizes the dignity and well-being of every person," said Dr.
The use of AI in finance, healthcare, and other industries should always have one underlying goal: to improve the human condition. However, many rightly worry about potential harm associated with the technology. The program in Prudential Design of Emerging Technologies was created to train professionals in a discipline that evaluates all aspects of AI products within a morally-reasoned and scientific framework.
The degree - pointedly - will prepare professionals to practice design in a way that is ever mindful of the full and extended effects of their use and does not simply seek greater efficiencies or technological novelties.
Prudential design is an approach guided by a scientifically-grounded understanding of human capabilities and tendencies, calm ethical reflection, and a robust understanding of Christian anthropology, with an acute awareness of the broader implications and power of technology.
