CaringBridge Welcomes Tammie Follett as Director of Advancement
In her new role, Tammie will lead the advancement strategy for CaringBridge, including major gifts, corporate and foundation giving, and the relationships and partnerships that help advance the organization's mission of ensuring no one goes through a health journey alone.
"Tammie brings an exceptional combination of fundraising expertise, relationship-building, strategic leadership, and a deep commitment to service," said
Most recently, Tammie served as Director of Advancement for Lawyers Without Borders, where she led fundraising, donor engagement, development and strategic partnership initiatives supporting justice and rule-of-law programs around the world.
Earlier in her career, Tammie spent many years at Thomson Reuters, most recently serving as Director of Community Relations. In that role, she built and strengthened relationships across corporate, legal, philanthropic, and nonprofit communities.
Tammie has also held numerous nonprofit leadership and board roles throughout her career. She was a founding board member of TeamWomen and served as Executive Director of the Literacy Matters Foundation. Her community leadership and board involvement has included Books For Africa, Africa Classroom Connection, Tubman, Jeremiah Program, Urban League Twin Cities, SPARK-Y and the Optimist Club of St. Paul, among others.
"I'm honored to join CaringBridge at a time when the need for connection and support during a health journey is so great," said Tammie. "CaringBridge has built something truly meaningful by bringing families, friends, and communities together when they need one another most. I'm excited to build on that foundation and help strengthen the relationships and partnerships that make this work possible."
Tammie's commitment to service and belief in the power of relationships align closely with CaringBridge's vision of a world where no one goes through a health journey alone. In her role, she will work to expand the philanthropic and strategic partnerships that enable CaringBridge to support more people and families facing health challenges.
