CD&R Appoints Sam Camens as Managing Director
Sam joins CD&R from Onex, a global alternative asset management firm, where he served as Managing Director of Insurance & Benefits. In this capacity, Sam advised Onex and its operating companies on the management and effectiveness of their general insurance and employee benefits initiatives. He also previously served as a Managing Director at the consulting firm Alterity Group, where he led corporate integrations and strategic carve-outs for large-cap private equity firms and also consulted for corporations across the healthcare and insurance industries.

He previously held a board position and chaired the compensation committee at OneDigital and currently sits on the board of the Youth Renewal Fund. Sam earned a B.A. in Mathematics and B.A. in Economics from Bucknell University.
