Boyland Electric Joins Atlas Power Partners

Atlas Power Partners welcomes top-rated Maryland generator dealer to its growing family of companies

NEW YORK, Nov. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Atlas Power Partners announced the addition of Boyland Electric to its growing platform of residential generator and electrical services companies. Boyland Electric is based in Laytonsville, Maryland and serves homeowners and businesses across Maryland, Washington, D.C. and Virginia. Founder Doug Boyland will continue to lead the company as President. Boyland Electric joins Always On Generators and Trademark Electric to become Atlas's third company, and its first in the Mid-Atlantic.

"Boyland immediately stood out for their reputation, efficiency and straightforward style with customers. No whiz-bang sales sizzle, just extremely high-quality work. It really fits what we're building with Atlas. A network of the best companies in our business," said David Fischer, Chief Executive Officer of Atlas Power Partners.

"Atlas is at the beginning of something big, and we're excited to be a part of it," said Doug Boyland, President of Boyland Electric. "We can grow that much faster with their support on hiring, back-office systems, and expansion. What stays the same is our commitment to doing the quality work we've always done."

"Above all, we're proud of the dedication and commitment our employees have shown us," said Carole Boyland, Co-Owner of Boyland Electric. "This means more growth and more opportunity for them: room to advance, more training, and the chance to teach other technicians to do installations our way."

Boyland joins Atlas's two Florida generator companies.

Atlas Power Partners is headquartered in New York City and established its first service locations in Florida through partnerships with Always On Generators in 2025 and Trademark Electric in 2026. Always On Generators is led by Co-Presidents William Hankins and Eric Patterson. It serves businesses and homeowners in Southwest Florida, where hurricane season makes backup power a necessity. Trademark Electric is led by President Chris Shea and serves customers across North Central Florida.

"We look for companies that have built lasting and strong reputations for generator service," said David Fischer, Chief Executive Officer of Atlas Power Partners. "Always On is obsessed with quality. They're great with high-end custom home builders, so if you're a homeowner, you're getting pro-grade quality. Trademark Electric is another incredible partner with extremely high standards. They're just a powerhouse – by far the market leader in their area."

All three Atlas Power Partners companies offer both Generac and Kohler generators. All three offer installation and maintenance services.

"Too much of the backup power industry runs on high-pressure sales and inconsistent installs. We want to prove there's a better way: honest pricing, work done right and service that shows up when the power goes out. Three partners in, I've never been more excited about where Atlas is headed," said Fischer.
