Books-A-Million Announces Real Estate Leadership Promotions

BIRMINGHAM, Ala., May 19, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- We are pleased to announce the promotion of Rick Franz to Executive Vice President of Real Estate and Jack Fleming to Vice President of Real Estate at Books-A-Million.

Since joining Books-A-Million, Rick has made significant contributions to our stores and our team, bringing strategic insight and leadership to the Real Estate department. In his new role, Rick will continue to shape the future of our store positioning and growth, driving our success in the years ahead. Rick and his wife reside in Phoenix, where they enjoy spending quality time with their grandchildren.

Jack has been a valued member of the Real Estate department for the past three years. In his new role, Jack will focus on managing Books-A-Million's existing assets while continuing to identify opportunities for new store openings. He and his wife live in Charleston with their baby boy, and when Jack is at the office, his dog, Bill, is sure to be nearby.

We are also excited to welcome Pete Turner to the team as Real Estate Manager. Since graduating from Auburn in 2020, Pete has gained valuable experience in commercial underwriting at Regions Bank. He joined us in April and is based in Dallas.
