Barchemy Appoints Isaac Long as CEO

Founder Larry Toscano to Become Chairman, Supporting the Company's Long-Term Growth and Strategic Objectives  

NEW YORK, Aug. 31, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Barchemy, LLC, a leading developer and manufacturer of better-for-you chocolate and confectionery ingredients serving the nutritional bar, bakery, confectionery and ice cream industries, today announced the appointment of experienced food industry executive Isaac Long as Chief Executive Officer.

As CEO, Long will build on the Company's strong momentum and continue advancing its commitment to innovation, customer partnership and flexible, high-quality manufacturing to support Barchemy's next phase of growth. Long joins Barchemy from Rise Baking Company, where he most recently served as Chief Transformation Officer and led a broad commercial transformation and enterprise-wide strategic planning initiatives. Prior to Rise, he served as President of Table Talk Pies, where he delivered significant EBITDA growth prior to its acquisition by Rise Baking Company. Earlier in his career, he served as a project leader at Boston Consulting Group (BCG). Prior to BCG, Long served for more than a decade in the U.S. Navy as a naval aviator and TOPGUN instructor. He holds a bachelor's degree from North Dakota State University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Long succeeds Barchemy Founder Larry Toscano, who will assume the role of Chairman and work closely with Long and the leadership team to support the Company's strategic roadmap and long-term growth objectives. Since founding the business in 2015, Toscano has established Barchemy as a trusted partner helping customers bring differentiated, better-for-you products to market with speed, flexibility and a collaborative approach to product development.
