Arcons offers full FIX (Financial Information xChange) integration

Arcons' tradePort trading and rebalancing solution helps firms send trades/allocations to FIX

SAN CARLOS, Calif., May 2, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Arcons Technology, Inc.® announced integration with FIX protocol on their trading platform tradePort.

Arcons' trading and rebalancing solution "tradePort" offers its users a seamless way to create trades based on either their flexible allocation models, one off trades or specific trades via add cash/raise cash operations. In addition, with one button click, firms can execute firmwide tax loss harvesting while guarding for wash sales.

For firms managing a large number of accounts, it is important that all their daily trades are sent to the custodians on a timely basis for execution and allocate the executions to each investor's account. For quarterly account rebalancing or daily one-off trading, the number of trades could be sufficiently large that FIX integration could be a lifesaver for trading back-office staff.

To achieve higher efficiency, lower error rate and to track records accurately, Arcons has integrated tradePort with FIX providers SunGard and Flyer. Using this, advisory firms can send their trades to their custodians over either FIX connection with a single button click. Executed trades can further be allocated to respective accounts using FIX messages.
