Anthony Holm responds to Rep. Jeff Leach's deleted posts on HB 4688

AUSTIN, Texas, Sept. 30, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Anthony Holm, constitutional conservative, trial lawyer and host of Politics with the Big Dogs, today responded to Rep. Jeff Leach's now-deleted social media posts defending House Bill 4688, legislation that would have restricted what evidence juries could consider in truck crash cases.

On Sept. 26, Holm's First Amendment Alliance Education Fund aired an ad on X questioning Leach's support of HB 4688. In a since-deleted post, Leach dismissed the claims as "trash." The deletion was first flagged by Current Revolt in an article titled Horrible Republican Scam Comes to Light.

"Representative Leach can delete his words, but he cannot delete the record," Holm said. "HB 4688 was legislation that limited juries' ability to review important evidence. Texans deserve accountability from their elected officials."

Holm has personally invited Rep. Leach onto his radio program to have an open discussion about HB 4688 and other issues that matter to Texans. "I welcome him to join me on Politics with the Big Dogs any time," Holm said.

The ad notes HB 4688 would have prevented juries from automatically considering whether truck drivers could read or speak English and other regulatory violations unless directly tied to a crash.

Holm, whose weekly radio show airs in Dallas, Houston and San Antonio and streams nationwide, has pledged to continue raising questions about conflicts of interest and donor influence in Austin.
