Amsted Automotive Powder Metallurgy Innovation Recognized with MPIF Award of Distinction
This is the 27th MPIF award earned by the Burgess-Norton team. The components that achieved recognition this year—a reaction block and cam plate—are critical to the operation of a mechanical locking rear differential. The innovative use of powder metal in this application reduces weight and material as well as cost through the reduction of secondary processes.
