Altamont Capital Partners-Backed Accelerant Holdings Completes Initial Public Offering

PALO ALTO, Calif., July 25, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Altamont Capital Partners (Altamont)-backed Accelerant Holdings (Accelerant) successfully completed its initial public offering on July 25. Altamont, a business-building private equity firm with deep expertise in financial services, has been the majority investor in Accelerant since its launch in 2019, closely partnering with the management team to create the highly innovative Risk Exchange platform. 

Leveraging its proven platform creation playbook and deep industry experience, Altamont has helped Accelerant scale its exchange from inception to more than $3.5 billion of gross written premium¹ across 232 Members. The firm worked closely with the Accelerant team, including Co-Founder and CEO Jeff Radke, to hire the requisite talent and develop the systems and technology partnerships to support this growth, while, as the controlling shareholder, playing a key role in the company's strategic decisions over the last six-plus years.
